Mariposa Languages is a language company based in West Sussex and Hampshire that aims to inspire children to learn Spanish in primary schools and extracurricular classes.
We can support Primary schools with their Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) curriculum with our engaging Spanish sessions that also includes a global vision programme and exciting international engagement with local teachers based in South America and Spain. The students will be able to learn Spanish every week and also to connect cultures from their classroom with our Spanish support and native tutors who will use technology to get closer to Hispanic culture.
Extracurricular Sessions
We offer extracurricular sessions like breakfast and after-school clubs in more than 15 schools around Hampshire, West Sussex, London and Brighton. We want to spread our Spanish vibes everywhere, contact us if you want us to offer a Spanish Club (mornings and evenings) at your school.
Nurseries & Pre-school
Mariposa Languages offers Spanish Workshops for Nurseries or Pre-school (singing and dancing in Spanish 1-4) ) where children will be motivated to sing and dance in a different language using energetic music and sensory toys to make it fun. Children who learn another language before 5 use the same part of the brain to acquire that second language that they use to learn their mother tongue. Learning a new language boosts problem-solving, critical thinking and listening skills.

Hola Sport
Sports & Enrichment
We are delighted to cover your school if you need time for planning! With our Sports Programme we can offer PPA, Enrichment Days or Special Days at schools. Our bespoke HOLA SPORTS, will offer a holistic programme where the Spanish language will be present all the time. We can go to your school. Ask here for a budget. We can offer 1 to 3 days of bilingual sports and spanish activities in your school if you get in touch here.
Hola Sports offers a full day of exercises, games and movement including the Spanish language at every level. We introduce Spanish vocabulary through art and craft activities. All of these disciplines (sports, languages and art) offer a 360º experience for children during the school holidays. Contact us if you want us to go to your school.

Owner and managing director of Mariposa Languages
My name is Mariana Espinel, I am the owner and director of Mariposa Languages. I am originally from Venezuela, Colombia and Spain. Yes, I was lucky to discover part of the world in my early years. As a native Spanish teacher, I love supporting schools in our collective job of embracing these little brilliant minds to discover how big and amazing the world around us is.
My professional and personal experience has shown me the importance of education and the positive acceptance of different cultures from an early stage in life. For this reason, we are offering a global vision programme which includes a real connection with Spanish-speaking countries. They will learn Spanish together and connect cultures from every UK-based classroom. We will bring cultures closer together!
