Mariposa Languages took flight under the leadership of Mariana Espinel in 2020, during the height of the COVID pandemic.
Originally from Venezuela, Colombia, and Spain, Mariana is a journalist, communicator, and certified Spanish teacher, currently expanding her expertise in managing language schools at ELE International School.
Her vision?
To offer extraordinary and inspiring language experiences for children across the UK — combining cultural celebration with linguistic excellence.
In 2025, Mariana proudly became an official provider for the West Sussex County Council, offering her Hola Sport camps through the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, supporting children in need through Spanish, sports, and smiles.
